Harlee Day (Minstrel), is a senior who is this year’s troupe President. Other than her playing the Minstrel she is also the Stage Manager and one of the costume heads. Her experience includes Izzy Ricks in The Edge of Peace, Soundboard Operator for our cut short production of Steel Magnolias, Thing 1 in Seussical, Stage Manager for The Miss Firecracker Contest, New Employee/Ensemble in 9 to 5, Maid/Gull/Ensemble in The Little Mermaid, Spotlight Operator in Elf, and Ensemble in our cut production of Footloose. She was also featured in our Cabaret as a Wickersham Brother in Seussical. She has also worked as our Secretary and Clerk last year for our troupe. Along with Valhalla Productions, Harlee is a member of the Viking Marching Band, Sources Of Strength, EHHS Chorus, and was a part of the North Georgia Percussion Ensemble. Harlee has been such a wonderful asset to this program the past couple of years. Harlee’s future plans are to attend college and become either a Nurse Practitioner or a Theatre Teacher. She wants to thank her family and friends for all the support they have given her throughout her years in theatre. Harlee also wants to thank everyone for coming to see this show.
Talan Ledford (Wizard), is a Junior who is this years troupe Treasurer and his experience includes; Stage crew for Miss Firecracker Contest, Thing 2 for Seussical the Musical, and Clovis P. Eudy in the Edge of Peace. He has also won the award of best ensemble for his performance. Along with being an officer of the Valhalla Productions, Talan is the secretary for the schools Student Council. Talan loves to sing, dance, really enjoys doing art and loves to cook. Talan’s future plans are to go to an acting college and hopefully be able to follow his dreams as an actor. Talan wants to thank his family and friends for all of the help they have given.
Frankie Ferguson (Queen Aggravain), is a junior who is debuting in her first show. Her experience includes a few shows when she was younger. Frankie is an avid writer who has produced multiple books and short stories. She thanks you for coming out today to see this production.
Alex Lewallen (King Sextimus), is a Freshman. His experience includes the “Edge of Peace.” Alex likes to hang out with his friends and play D&D. He loves theater and is excited for the show.
Haley Jarrard (Lady Mabelle/Costume Designer) is a sophomore here at EHHS and has been a part of troupe 5432 since her freshman year. She’s been a part of our past productions which you may have seen such as Seussical being a part of ensemble and Edge of Peace performing the role of Margaret. She won best ensemble for her performance in Seussical. In addition to being an actor, Haley has been our head of costumes this year working along with her fellow cast mates to create the best costumes possible. Along with being a member of our theatre department, Haley is a varsity cheerleader for football and basketball. She has been a cheerleader since she was five. She has also recently joined the national thespian society. Apart from being a thespian member, Haley is a proud member of EPICC, national honors society, Beta Club, and the Valhalla Chamber choir here at East Hall. In her spare time Haley enjoys reading, spending quality time with her friends, and making great memories with the people around her. As she starts her healthcare pathway, Haley hopes to go into the medical field in hopes to become a nicu nurse and further down the road opening a boutique with her mother. Haley is so thankful for her parents support throughout the show and thanks you for coming out!
Lady Merrill - Lilli Smith
Sydney Brown (Princess Winnifred), is currently a junior at East Hall High School. Sydney is this year’s troupe Vice-President, as well as she was the troupe Webmaster last year. She has been a part of the Viking Vision Theatre program since her freshman year, and is very excited for her role as Winnifred the Woebegone in Once Upon a Mattress. Her past performances include, Andrina and ensemble in The Little Mermaid, Missy Hart and ensemble in 9 to 5, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, Truvy in our sadly cut production Steel Magnolias, and Girl in Edge of Peace. After high school, Sydney plans to attend Brenau University in hopes of joining the theatre program while also studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sydney says, “My favorite part about performing, is that when in character, you're no longer subjected to being yourself. You can be anyone or anything you desire.”
Elizabeth Warren (Lady Emily/Assistant Director) is a sophomore at EHHS, and this is her first year as a Viking Player. You have seen her work in this year's production of Edge of Peace. For that production she assisted in the costume department and set building. Her attention to detail, and dedication to excellence led her to being the assistant director in Once Upon a Mattress. When not in theater, she can be found cheering for the EHHS Viking basketball and football teams as a varsity cheerleader. She is a proud member of International Thespian Troupe #5432. She is also a member of National Honors Society, and the EHHS Chorus group, The Valhalla Chamber. She is working on completing her Graphics and Design pathway. Her future plans are to attend a college and pursue a degree in forensic science.
Citra Hicks (Sound Board Operator) is a freshman. This is their second show with Valhalla Productions. Their experience includes set construction and stage crew in The Edge of Peace. They are the sound board operator and are glad to be part of Once Upon A Mattress!
Nila Goss (Princess No. 12/Lady-in-waiting), is a Sophomore and this is her second year in theater. Her experience includes last year's show Seussical The Musical, where she played Jojo. Nila is happy and excited to be back on stage for another musical! She hopes that you guys enjoy the show so much! Again, Nila is very happy to be back on stage and glad to see you guys support us tonight!!
Demetri Knowles (Lady Larken), is a junior who is playing in her first show as an actress. She has experience doing lights and sound for Edge of Peace (2022). Demetri is an aspiring artist who is interested in animation and most all forms of arts. She is excited to have you here!
Colton Hewell (Prince Dauntless) is a Junior and this year’s troupe Webmaster. His previous experience includes shows such as: Pippin, The Mad Ones, The Little Mermaid, 9 to 5, The Miss Firecracker Contest, Seussical, and the Edge of Peace. In addition, he was also troupe 5432’s Vice President last year. Another one of his other interests is Chorus, and he has gone to All State Chorus multiple times. Performing for others is what he loves to do, and he hopes you enjoy the show!
Jayleen Lona (Jester), is a sophomore who is proud to say that for her first show she will be playing the jester!! You may have seen her on the football field during marching band season! however she is especially thrilled to be your comedic relief, and fill your mouths with laughter for this show. :D she thanks you all and hopes you love the show! <3
Mady Desir (Lady Rowena/Dance Captain) is an idiosyncratic, incomparable, and energetic young lady who is a Senior here at EHHS. You may have seen her in productions playing the roles of a monkey from Tarzan in our production Disney Animations, Munchkin Mayor in Wizard Of Oz, Ensemble Member in our production of Jasper In Deadland, Elf #2 in our production of Elf the Musical, and Mrs. Mayor in our production of Seussical. She’s been a self-taught dancer for at least eighteen years and counting; which is why she’s our main choreographer/dance captain for our department this year. She hopes to go to college for a bachelor’s degree in business/dance, and furthermore own a dance company one day.
Kami Stough: (Lady Lucille/Nightingale) You may have seen her in past productions such as: Arista in The Little Mermaid, Detective in 9 To 5, Who in Suessical, and Elaine in the Miss Firecracker Contest. She hopes you enjoy the show and have a great time!
Fernando Rodriguez (Sir Harry), is a freshman who is new to the theatre. His experience is only this show, but he hopes to have some more fun by doing more shows in the future. Fernando is also in ROTC, likes Korean pop, and likes to dance only once in a while.
Dixie Garrison (Light Board Operator) is a freshman who is doing another show with us this year. She was the Character “Voice” in the last show, “Edge of Peace.” She loves theater, and she’s very excited to be back on this show with us even if she’s not an actor. And she knows you’ll love this show.
